Gemma And Her Paper Pawtrait Creations!
With over 20 years of experience in art, Gemma Lorente-Shore is renowned for her unique paper layering technique to create bespoke pet portraits and animal designs. Inspired by the Papercraft movement as well as her love for animals and nature, Gemma has created this unique and distinctive. In addition to her passion for animals and art, Gemma has a BA Hons in Creative Arts and a Diploma in Zoology and Photography.
Gemma’s Mission – To Help Animals Through Art
As a result of her success, Gemma has been able to make donations to various animal charities, helping countless animals in need. Being able to help charities close to her heart through her work gives her even more joy in her art. Some of the charities she has worked with include, Fat Fluffs Rabbit Rescue, Greyhound Trust and more!
Gemma is currently working with The Animal House Rescue. Helping unwanted, abused and abandoned animals receive treatment and care before finding their forever homes. You can find out more here.
Paper Pawtraits Achievements
Gemma originally started Paper Pawtraits in 2017. Creating bespoke pet portraits for pet owners and animal lovers around the world. Gemma’s work has earned the attention of iconic top magazines, bloggers and pet industry influencers. As a result, Gemma’s portraits have also been showcased at Crufts Dog Show, Twyross Zoo and more!
In 2020/2021Gemma’s work was recognised in the UK. She subsequently won a prestigious award for being an online specialist store of the year.
Currently living in her hometown of Wolverhampton, UK, Gemma has a few pets of her own. Four adorable house rabbits called Bugsy, Bandit, Bonnie and Blizzard. They even have their own following on Instagram @fluffy_bunny_tales🎀
